Our History
Van Rhyn Primary School was established in 1949 in Windhoek, Namibia, and named after a respected family in the community. For over 75 years, we have been providing quality education to the children of Windhoek and surrounding areas.
Our school has a proud tradition of academic excellence, sporting achievements, and cultural activities. The school motto "SERVIMUS" (We Serve) has guided generations of learners who have passed through our halls.
Throughout the years, Van Rhyn has grown while maintaining its commitment to providing quality education in a nurturing and disciplined environment.

School Leadership
School Management
Van Rhyn Primary School is led by our principal, Mr. R. Gentz, along with the deputy principal, Ms. L. Iileka, and our dedicated heads of department. Together with our School Board, they ensure the effective management and governance of our school.
The leadership team works collaboratively with our teaching staff, parents, and the broader school community to uphold our traditions while adapting to meet the changing needs of education in the 21st century.
